Overview
Embark on this amazing African big five and Wildebeest Migration safari in Northern Tanzania during this 6 days safari.
The safari will begin in Arusha by visiting Arusha National Park, head to Tarangire National Park for game drives, then Serengeti national park for another game drives and the climax of the safari will be in Ngorongoro conservation area.
Apart from the big five animals, wildlife such as ostriches, giraffes, zebras, Abyssinian Ground Hornbills, vultures and more will not be missed.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up from Arusha, visit Arusha National Park
The driver guide will welcome you from the airport, briefing about the tour will follow and then transfer to Arusha National Park.
The game drive will commence immediately after your arrival where animals like buffalos, giraffes, warthogs, zebras, water bucks, gazelles and more will be spotted. Head to the booked hotel in Arusha town for your dinner.
Day 2: Head to Tarangire National Park
Leave to Tarangire National Park a home to large numbers of elephant and huge giant baobab trees.
It’s also a home to diverse bird life which can be spotted all over the park premises. After a 2 hours’ drive, take a game drive in the park where you expect to meet animals like elephants, lions, giraffes, warthogs, buffalos, mongoose, cheetah, baboons, impalas and more. Head to the lodge booked for your dinner.
Day 3: To Serengeti National Park
Leave Tarangire national park after a morning game drive and head to Serengeti national park famous protected area in Africa for hosting the annual wildebeest migration.
There is diverse concentration of wildlife such as zebras, gazelles, lions, elephants, wildebeests, zebras, and more. Arrive and head to your booked safari camp.
Day 4: Full day in Serengeti National Park
Take a full day game drive in Serengeti National Park where animals like lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants, rhinos, wildebeests, gazelles, zebras, giraffes, topi, hippos, warthogs, hartebeest, waterbucks, giraffes, impala, eland, bushbucks, klipspringer, lesser kudus, roan antelopes, dik dik and Oryx and many others.
This day will include picnic lunch and high chances of witnessing wildebeest migration.
Day 5: Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater Area
Head to Ngorongoro Crater Area for another adventure, a home to diverse wild animals, birdlife, beautiful landscape and various calderas.
Arrive and take a game drive where you expect to spot animals like rhinos, leopards, hippos, waterbucks, bushbucks, elephants, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals, wildebeests, gazelles and many more. Drive back to your lodge with beautiful scenic views.
Day 6: Transfer back to Arusha and depart.
Take a morning game drive in the park which will be followed by a transfer to Arusha. Relax and take an evening flight back home to mark the end of the safari.
