Overview.
While on this exciting safari, travellers will have the golden opportunity to observe the world’s most powerful waterfalls that is to say Murchison falls. The guests will launch a boat cruise to the clear view of the falls and also have a top of the falls experience to ensure that they explore more of the waterfall.
Game drives will be carried out in the National Park to avail the travelers with the views of the iconic animals within the park and the diverse array of landscapes covered with lush vegetation that adds up to the appealing look of the entire National Park.
In this beautiful land, travellers will therefore have the opportunity to indulge in exciting activities such as photography and sightseeing.
Detailed itinerary.
Day 1. Transfer to Murchison falls national park. Enroute visit to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary. Top of the falls experience.
Guests will be served a delicious morning meal at the hotel. Undertake the drive to Murchison falls National Park after the meal. The journey will take you about 3 hours and 52 minutes covering the 234.5 kilometer distance.
Enroute to the destination, you will branch to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary to trek the rhinos. Enjoy the experience until midday when you will continue to Masindi to have a lunch stopover. Enjoy the lunch and after continue with the journey to Murchison falls National Park.
On arrival in the park, you will drive to the top of the falls trail and conduct a hike. Enjoy the aerial view of the world’s most powerful waterfalls until sunset. Continue to the lodge and check in. You will be served a delicious dinner and accommodated for the night.
Day 2. Game drive and boat cruise.
Upon waking up in the morning, the catering team at the lodging facility will present to you a well prepared breakfast. Savor the meal amidst the views of the captivating landscapes.
Embark on a morning game drive in the national park that will avail opportunities for you to view a series of wildlife species including the African Bush elephants, lions, African buffaloes, giraffes and antelopes.
The game drive will take you until midday when you will travel back to the lodge to get served and mouth watering lunch. After lunch, you will head to the Nile river in the park where you will conduct a boat cruise that will be launched to the view of the iconic Murchison falls.
Enjoy cruising as you watch the lush vegetation and wildlife species. Take some pictures with a clear view of the falls and after travel back to the lodge at sunset. Dinner will be served to you after which you will be accommodated for the night.
Day 3. Morning game drive. Return journey to Kampala.
The guests will have delicious morning meals as prepared by the chefs at the lodge. An additional morning game drive will be conducted to further equip the visitor with opportunities to sight the wildlife species within the park especially the wild cats.
The game drive will keep you occupied until the mid morning when you embark on the returning journey back to Kampala.
You will have a lunch stopover in Masindi and after continue to Kampala, a journey that will take you about 3 hours and 52 minutes covering the 234.5 kilometre distance. Continue to Entebbe International Airport fly back home.
