7 Days Uganda Luxury Fly-in Safari

Overview.

This 7 Day-Uganda luxury fly-in safari is a great way to go where you encounter different wildlife and primates as you fly to and from the first and last destination respectively. Take part in trekking the mountain gorillas, and chimpanzees in Kibale and a community tour.

This tour is a luxury safari and it’s suitable for tourists who love nature, primates, and luxury activities like the elderly. The safari will take you to Bwindi, Queen Elizabeth, and Kibale National Parks.

Detailed Itinerary

Day1. Pick up and transfer flight to Kisoro, drive to Bwindi National Park

The driver guide will pick you up from any agreed point (Entebbe/Kampala) and head to Kajjansi airport where you fly to Kisoro airstrip where you get another guide that will take you to Bwindi National Park. This park is home to diverse wildlife including mountain gorillas the unique and endangered primates. Arrive and head to the lodge.

Day2. Gorilla trekking

Have a chance to trek gorilla in Bwindi National Park which normally begins with briefing tithe park offices led by the park ranger guide.

During this trekking, enjoy the beautiful scenery of the surrounding as you meet the family of the gorillas playing, feeding, playing as the Silverback will be practicing its leadership skills and more. After the trek, head back to the lodge and take part in optional activities like a community tour.

Day3. Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park through the Ishasha sector

Leave Bwindi and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park and enjoy the beautiful tree-climbing lions. Trek the tree-climbing lions in the Ishasha sector where you encounter them resting in the trees.

Arrive and head to the lodge at Mweya Peninsular.

Day4. Game drive and boat cruise

Head for a game drive in the morning and then in the afternoon boat cruise which takes place on Kazinga channel.

Each activity takes about 2 hours of experiment which rewards you with animals like elephants, lions, leopards, buffalo, warthogs, crocodiles, hippos, and others. This day will create everlasting memories on your lifetime safari.

Day5. Drive to Kibale National Park and community walk

Leave Queen Elizabeth National Park and head to Kibale National Park passing through the twin lakes of Kasenda, Lake Nyinambuga, and Lake Kifuruka for the great view. One of the lakes is featured on the 20,000 UGX note.

Arrive and take part in the evening community walk in Isunga Cultural Community where you visit crater lakes, food gardens, coffee, tea, vanilla gardens, and more. Head to the lodge for your dinner.

Day6. Chimpanzee tracking

Head for Chimpanzee tracking where you encounter these human close relatives in their natural habitat and this will begin with the briefing. This exercise is very important where you get to learn about the rules and regulations, dress code, time taken in the forest, materials to carry, and more.

Begin the search and spend an hour in the presence of these primates taking and recording memorable photos and videos. In the evening, have an optional tour like the Bigodi Swamp Walk or visit the Tae plantations or coffee tours at the edge of Kibale National Park.

Day7. Fly back to Kajjansi and drop off at the airport in Entebbe.

Fly back to Kajjansi after an optional activity where you be picked up by the assigned driver guide who will take you to the airport and this will be the end of the safari.
