Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and Kampala city tour
Upon arrival at the Entebbe International Airport or after breakfast at your lodge, you will meet our professional driver guide. He or she will brief you about your 15 days Uganda safari. You will take on amazing Kampala city tour. Visit local markets, Kasubi royal tombs, Buganda kingdom palace, Bahai temple, etc. Lunch will be at any hotel in Kampala. In the evenning, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park
After breakfast, check out of the lodge and embark on the drive to Kidepo Valley National – Uganda’s most isolated national Park. The journey involves passing through trading centers, rolling hills and lush green vegetation. Lunch will be en-route. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Full-day game drives in Kidepo Valley National Park
After a relaxed breakfast, you will go for a full-day game drive in Kidepo Valley National Park.
This is meant for you to explore the park at length, visit different sectors including the Narrus Valley and Kidepo Valley.
You will also visit the Karimajong people for a great cultural encounter. A picnic lunch in the bush will be organized for a great adventure. Return to your lodge for dinner and spend the night over.

Day 4: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
After a relaxed breakfast, you will drive to Murchison Falls National Park. You may pass by the Karimajong communities for a second cultural tour. Lunch will be en-route. Upon arrival, check in to your earlier-booked lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Morning game drive and afternoon Boat Cruise
After breakfast, go for an amazing game drive in Murchison Falls National Park. You will encounter the Big 4 animals namely; elephant, lion, leopard, and buffalo.
The park is also home to multiple bird species. Return to your lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, you will go to River Nile for a boat cruise. The cruise will take you to the bottom of the falls. You will see schools of hippos as well as Nile crocodiles. You will hike to the top of Murchison Falls for an extraordinary experience. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Transfer to Kibale National Park
After breakfast, check out of the lodge and embark on the drive to Kibale National Park. Lunch will be en-route.

Day 7: Chimpanzee tracking and Bigodi wetland walk
Start your 7th day of 15 days Uganda safari with a delicious breakfast. You will go to the Visitors’ center for chimp tracking.
After briefing, you will enter the forests in search of the chimps.
Upon encountering the chimps, you will be allowed to spend one hour in their presence. Return to your lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, you will go for a walk in the Bigodi wetland. This is a reliable birding destination. It is also a chance to interact with the local members of the community. In the evening, you return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Crater lake tours, Amabere caves and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, you will check out of your lodge and go for crater lake tours.
Visit top of the world and Amabere Ga’nyinamwiru caves.
Have lunch and continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park – Uganda’s most popular national Park. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Morning game drive and afternoon Boat cruise
After breakfast, you will go for a game drive in the Kasenyi sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park.
You will meet animals like elephants, hippos, buffaloes, warthogs, gazelles, etc. Visit the Katwe salt mining area. Return to your lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, go for a boat cruise at Kazinga Channel. You will encounter many birds, hippos and Nile crocodiles. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Morning game drive and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, check out of the lodge and go for a game drive in the Ishasha sector.
You will encounter the rare tree-climbing lions and other animal, plant and bird species. Continue with an en-route lunch to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Upon arrival, check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 11: Gorilla trekking and Batwa Community tour
This is a big day on your 15 days Uganda safari! Start with breakfast and briefing at the park headquarters.
You will enter the impenetrable forests of Bwindi in search of mountain gorillas. Upon encountering a gorilla family, you will be given one hour to spend in their presence. Return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation.
In the evening, visit the Batwa communities for yet another cultural encounter on your15 days Uganda safari. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 12: Full day at Lake Bunyonyi
After breakfast, you will transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. Spend the whole day exploring the islands and the local communities.

Day 13: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park via Igongo Cultural Center
After breakfast, check out of the lodge and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park. You will have a lunch stopover in Mbarara city.
Visit Igongo Cultural Center for an ultimate experience. You will learn about the stories of Ankole kingdom. Hike to the Eclipse Monument and enjoy scenic views of the surrounding areas including Mbarara city.
Continue to Lake Mburo National Park. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 14: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise
After breakfast, go for a game drive following different trails of the park.
You will encounter zebras, giraffes, antelopes, buffaloes, leopards, warthogs, to mention but a few. Lake Mburo is a good destination for birding. Return to your lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, go for a boat cruise at Lake Mburo. You will meet the local fishermen at the lake. You will see hippos and crocodiles. Several water birds will also be seen. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 15: Transfer to Kampala – Departure
After breakfast, check out of the lodge and embark on the drive to Kampala. You may take on an Ankole long-horned cattle tour in one of the farms near the park. Continue with an en route lunch. You will stop at the Uganda Equator for photography. The driver will drop you at a hotel of your choice in Kampala. He may as well drop you at the Entebbe International flight for an outbound flight. This marks the end of your amazing 15 days Uganda safari.
