Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
After you arrive at the Entebbe International Airport, you will meet our driver guide. He or she will brief you about your 9 days Uganda tour.
You will embark on the drive to Uganda’s biggest and oldest national Park – Murchison Falls National Park.
You will stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking. Lunch will be at a hotel in Masindi town.
Continue and check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Morning game drive, afternoon boat cruise, and hike to the top of the falls
After breakfast, you will go for a game drive in the park. This will introduce you to animals like lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, waterbucks, buffaloes etc.
You will also meet multiple bird species. Return to your lodge for relaxation and lunch.
In the afternoon, you will go to the River Nile for a boat cruise. The cruise will introduce you to schools of hippos and crocodiles. The boat will take you to the bottom of Murchison Falls. You will then hike to the top of the falls and enjoy scenic views of the surrounding areas. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale National Park
Start your day with a delicious breakfast and hit the road to Kibale National Park – the primate capital of the world. You will make a stopover and take a glance at the lush green vegetation as well as scenic views of the hills. Lunch will be en route. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge for relaxation. Spend the evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Chimpanzee tracking and Bigodi wetland walk
After breakfast, you will go to the Visitor’s Center for briefing about chimpanzee trekking. You will then enter the forests in search of a particular chimp family.
Upon encountering them, you will spend an hour in their presence. Follow the rules and regulations regarding the activity. Return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation.
In the afternoon, you will go for a walk in the Bigodi swamp. This is well known area for birding and community tours. You will interact with local members of the community and see hundreds of bird species. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Crater lake tours, Amabere caves, and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, check out of the lodge and embark on a tour of the crater lakes region. You will enjoy spectacular views of the Rwenzori Mountains and hike to the top of the world.
You will also visit the Amabere caves in Fort Portal for an extraordinary experience. Continue with an en-route lunch to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise at Kazinga Channel
After breakfast, you will go for a game drive in the Kasenyi sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park.
You will meet animals like elephants, hippos, buffaloes, warthogs, gazelles, etc. Visit the Katwe salt mining area. Return to your lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, go for a boat cruise at Kazinga Channel. You will encounter many birds, hippos and Nile crocodiles. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
