Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Kasese
Upon arrival at the Entebbe International Airport, you will meet our professional driver guide. He or she will brief you about your 8 days Mount Rwenzori Adventure Tour. You will then embark on the drive to Kasese town. Lunch will be en route. You will enjoy scenic views of the Rwenzori Mountains as you draw closer to the park. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Hike from Nyakalengija to Nyabitaba hut (1648m to 2651)
After an early breakfast, check out of the lodge and drive to the briefing point. At about 8 am, you will start your Mount Rwenzori hiking adventure. You will pass through busy vegetation and grassy lands as well as rock. You will also hike past the Mahoma River before reaching Nyabitaba Hut. You will spend the night here.

Day 3: Hike from Nyabitaba hut to John Matte (3503m)
After breakfast, you will continue your Rwenzori hike traversing the rocky hills. You will also pass by the Mubuku and Bujjuku rivers as well as enjoy scenic views of Mount Stanly and Mount Speke. The hike will introduce you to many primates like white colobus monkeys and blue monkeys. You will also see a horned chameleon. You will spend your night at the John Matte.

Day 4: Hike from John Matte to Bujjuku (3900m)
Start your day with a delicious breakfast before continuing with your 8 days Mount Rwenzori Adventure Tour. Your guide will lead you on a hike to Bujjuku crossing the River and getting up close to the lower Bigo Bog. Go through the steep section past the hut. You will have a lunch stopover and continue to the upper section of Bigo Bog. Dinner and overnight at Bujjuku.

Day 5: Hike from Bujjuku to Kitandara (4023m)
After breakfast, you will continue your 8 days Mount Rwenzori Hiking adventure through rocky steep, and slippery slopes. You will enjoy exceptional views of Mount Stanly. At this point, you will have started enjoying scenic views of Margherita Peak. Lunch will be along the day before your overnight at Kitandara.

Day 6: Hike from Kitandara to guy yeoman (3505m)
This is the long-awaited day of your Rwenzori hiking tour. start with breakfast and embark on the hike through steep slopes and glaciers. At this point, the hike becomes more challenging, and takes about 6 to 7 hours to climb to Margarita Peak. This point is that Rwenzori hiking is recommended for travelers who are physically fit and professional hikers. The weather is so dynamic, and cool and the temperatures are low. You will spend the night at Guy Yeoman.

Day 7: Guy yeo man to Nyabitaba to Nyakalengija
After breakfast, begin to hike down the mountain from a different side. You will enjoy views of Mount Stanly as well as the Democratic Republic of the Congo. You descend slowly via the rivers and rocky slopes as well as pass through montane vegetation. You will spend the night at the Ruboni Community bands in preparation for departure.

Day 8: Transfer to Kampala – Departure
On the last day of your 8 days Mount Rwenzori Adventure tour, you will start with a delicious relaxed breakfast. Hit the road to Kampala with a lunch stopover.
