Day 1: Kigali city tour and transfer to Nyungwe National Park
After you arrive at the Kigali International Airport or after breakfast at your lodge, you will meet our professional driver guide. He or she will brief you about your 3 days Nyungwe Chimpanzee tour. You will then embark on the Kigali city tour. You will visit the local markets, the Kigali Genocide Memorial Center, and Nyamatta Church.
You will continue with an en route to Nyungwe National Park. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking and Canopy walk in Nyungwe National Park
Start your day with a delicious breakfast followed by exceptional chimp tracking. The tracking starts with a briefing at the park headquarters. Travelers enter the forests in search of these human-like apes. Upon meeting the chimpanzee family, you are given one hour to spend in their presence. You will return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation.
In the afternoon, you will go for an afternoon canopy walk in Nyungwe Forest. The walk involves walking on a suspended bridge on top of the forest. You will enjoy scenic views of the bird species as well as the surrounding areas. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Visit the Gisakura Tea Estate and transfer to Kigali
Start your day with a relaxed breakfast. You will then check out of the lodge and embark on the drive to Kigali. You will also take on a coffee tour at the Gisakura Tea Estate and taste the true African coffee.
