Overview
Enjoy this 3-day safari which will lead you to the most amazing and interesting creatures during your trip. It will take you through the rolling hills and mountains of Rwanda plains since you will be picked up from the airport at Kigali and also visit the cleanliness city of Kigali in the whole of Africa.
You will encounter several wildlife as soon as you get into Akagera National Park by doing a game drive accompanied by a ranger guide who will be fully armed for protection, enjoy the sea life during the boat cruise where you will gain a chance to spot sea animals you might have missed during a game drive through the Park, enjoying the sea breeze and very many more.
Despite the above, your 3-day safari starts and ends in Kigali at the airport or the agreed location with a pickup and a drop off by your safari driver guide.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1. Arrival and transfer to Akagera National Park
Meet our well-behaved driver guide at the airport for briefing about the safari then after drive to the nearest hotel for breakfast. Later set off for the journey to Akagera National Park. You will drive through the beautiful sceneries of Rwanda to reach Akagera National Park. As soon as you start entering the Park you will be welcomed by numerous wildlife which will create an image that you have started the safari. Proceed and check in with the booked lodge and relax.
Day 2. Game drive and boat cruise
Arise early in the morning, have your well-prepared breakfast then jump into your safari car a gain and head to the Park offices for a ranger guide and registration. After you will set for a game drive through Akagera National Park and you have a high chance of spotting several wild animals which include Zebras, Topis, impalas, elephants, bushbucks, and giraffes. Rhinos and many others. You will also spot beautiful bird species mostly big birds for example African fish eagles, Brown snake eagles among others.
Drive back to the lodge for lunch then after having another amazing adventure on the boat cruise and also take a chance to spot other water animals like Zebras, Antelopes, and bird species like swamp flycatchers, Heuglins robin chat, red-faced Robin-chat, shoebill stock, and others. Drive back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3. Transfer back to Kigali
Wake up early morning for sunbathing from your lodge as you wait for breakfast then after enjoying your meal, pack all your belongings and check out with the lodge. The drive takes you about two to three hours to get to Kigali city.
Depending on the flight time, you can opt first to visit the museum or any craft shop to buy some souvenirs as you wait for the flight time and fly back home.
