Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and Kigali city tour
Upon arrival at the Kigali International Airport, you will meet our professional driver guide. He or she will brief you about your 10 days Discover Rwanda Tour. You will then embark on the amazing Kigali city tour. You will visit local markets, the city center, the Nyamatta church, and the Genocide Memorial Museum.
Get a chance to see the remains of thousands of Rwandese who died during the 1994 Genocide. Lunch will be at any hotel in the city. In the evening, check in to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Transfer to Akagera National Park
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and embark on the drive to Akagera National Park – Rwanda’s only savannah park. Traverse through the rolling hills of Rwanda.

Day 4: Transfer to Nyungwe National Park

Day 5: Chimpanzee tracking and Canopy walk

You will be assigned a chimp family to track and the adventure begins there and the. Upon meeting the chimpanzee family, you will be given one hour to spend in their presence. The park is home to other bird and primate species. Return to your lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, you will go for a canopy walk on top of the forest. The walk will give you a chance to explore the park in detail as well as enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding areas. Dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Transfer to Lake Kivu

Day 7: Morning Boat Cruise and transfer to Volcanoes National Park
