This exhilarating 3 days gorilla tour will enable the travelers to explore the most intact rainforest on the African continent. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is not only a host to the oldest tropical rainforest on the continent but also the bigger section of the world’s only remaining endangered mountain gorillas.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1. Travel to Bwindi impenetrable National Park. Equator experience.
Arise at the crack of dawn and get served a scrumptious breakfast as prepared by the well appointed staff at the hotel. Luxuriate in the ambient environment of the hotel as you enjoy the meal and after check out of the hotel to embark on the journey to Bwindi impenetrable National Park.
The journey will take you about 10 hours and 30 minutes covering the 501.6 kilometer distance. Enroute to the destination, you will have a stopover at Kayabwe equator spot. At the spot, you will enjoy the coriolis effect to experience the equilibrium of earth.
You can also purchase some souvenirs if you wish from the art shops at the site. Continue to Mbarara where you will have a lunch stopover. After lunch, you will continue to the South to Bwindi impenetrable National Park and check in at the lodging facility.
Enjoy the breeze of the forest as you watch the towering canopies and the breathtaking landscapes. Dinner will be served at twilight after which you will have a night time rest.
Day 2. Gorilla trekking. Batwa cultural encounter.
Upon waking up at sunrise, the guests will be served a scrumptious breakfast by the catering team at the lodge. After breakfast, you will then embark on the gorilla trekking activities that will be kick started with a briefing conducted by the Rangers to equip the guests with information about the guidelines of the gorilla trek.
The Rangers will then accompany the visitors to the jungle to meet the exciting mountain gorillas. This activity will keep the guests occupied until in the afternoon as they observe the fascinating behaviors of the mountain gorillas up close in their natural habitat.
Travellers will then travel back to the lodge to get served a delicious lunch. After lunch, undertake the Batwa cultural visit. You will have a close encounter with the renowned hunter gatherer community who you will interact with as they shall keep you entertained the entire afternoon.
Conduct some acts of voluntourism to ensure that they also benefit from the trip. Head back to the lodge at sunset to relax, have dinner and rest for the night.
Day 3. Head back to Kampala. Departure.
Arise at sun up and get served a scrumptious breakfast with the professionals at the lodge. Enjoy the meals amidst the views of the towering rainforests as it teams up with the mist in the golden hour.
After breakfast, you will then check out of the lodge embark on the travel back to Kampala. This journey will take you about 10 hours and 30 minutes covering the 501.6 kilometer distance.
