Overview.
This eight days Kenya wildlife safari will immerse the adventure seeking travelers in the breathtaking beauty of the landscapes and wildlife of Kenya. The guests will have the opportunity to explore Amboseli National Park that is renowned for its large herds of elephants and a sneak peek of the snow capped Mount Kilimanjaro one gets while in the park. Such beautiful moments are ideal for photography and sightseeing that the travellers will gladly indulge in.
Furthermore, the guests will explore the Masai villages in the outskirts of the National Park to get a deeper understanding of the traditional African society. More visits will be launched to lake Naivasha, lake Nakuru National Park for exclusive birding adventures and Masai Mara national reserve to watch the wildebeests.
Detailed itinerary.
Day 1. Arrive in Nairobi.
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, the guests will be received by a tourist guide. The guide will brief the travelers about the exciting safari they are yet to experience in the most beautiful areas of the country.
Undertake the drive to the hotel in Nairobi to unwind in the premises. A delicious meal will be served to you by the appointed staff. Continue relaxing in the premises of the hotel as you enjoy the views of the bustling city.
A delicious dinner will be served to you at sunset after which you will be accommodated for the night time.
Day 2. Transfer to Amboseli National Park. evening game drive.
Feast on a leisurely breakfast at the hotel in the wee hours of the morning. After the delicious breakfast, you will then undertake the transfer journey to Amboseli National Park.
This will consume approximately 3 hours and 22 minutes covering the distance of about 211.2 kilometers. Enjoy the views of the iconic herds of elephants and the far snow capped Kilimanjaro mountain. Undertake the drive to the lodge in the National Park where you will be served lunch.
After lunch, relax in the premises at the lodge. An evening game drive will be conducted in the National Park to equip you with more views of the wildlife species within the park. You will stand chances of spotting series of Wildcats as they embark on their hunts. Head back to the lodge at sunset to get served dinner and rest for the night.
Day 3. Morning game drive, Masai village visit.
Have delicious morning meals at the lodging facility upon waking up.
A morning game drive will thereafter be conducted to ensure that you have more sightings of animals within the park. Enjoy watching the elephants, wildcats antelopes and bird species until mid morning.
Travel back to the lodge to get served a delicious lunch. After lunch, you will then embark on the drive to the Masai homesteads in the surroundings of the National Park.
In the Masai homesteads, you will be entertained by the local people and interact with them the entire evening.
Enjoy their folklore and dances until sunset when you will drive back to the lodge. Evening meals will be served to you and you will be accommodated for the night.
Day 4. Drive to lake Naivasha, Boat ride. Visit Crescent Island.
After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and undertake the drive to lake Naivasha. The overall journey will take you about 5 hours and 18 minutes covering a distance of approximately 311.1 kilometers. Enjoy the views of the lake and after head to the lodge to get served and mouth watering lunch at high noon.
After lunch, you will undertake a boat ride on the lake to explore more of it’s beauty. Continue to the Crescent island and enjoy the captivating views of the lush vegetation.
Be sure to take some beautiful photographs that will remind you of this breathtaking adventure. Float back at sunset and head to the lodge to unwind from the day’s activities, get served dinner and have an overnight stay.
Day 5. Transfer to lake Nakuru National Park.
At the crack of dawn, you will be served a delicious breakfast by the well appointed staff at the lodge. Relish in the golden hour as you enjoy the meal and after check out of the lodge to undertake the journey to lake Nakuru National Park. The journey will take you about one hour and 30 minutes covering the 72.4 kilometer distance.
Explore around the lake on arrival and enjoy the up close views of the hundreds of flamingos at the lake. Explore the lake until midday when you will transfer to the lodge to get served as scrumptious lunch.
Relax in your units at the lodge in the afternoon as you await for the exciting adventures in the evening.
A game drive will be conducted in the park in the evening to help you have views of the black rhinos, white rhinos, wildcats and the East African endemic bird species that inhabit the beautiful landscapes of the park. Head back to the lodge at sundown to have dinner and an overnight rest.
Day 6. Morning game drive. Head to Masai Mara national reserve. evening game drive.
On the foggy morning, you’ll be served a delicious breakfast at the lodging facility. You will thereafter conduct a morning game drive in the National Park for further chances to view the animals that inhabit it especially the Wildcats that enjoy loitering as they hunt their prey in the golden hours.
Travel back to the lodge in the midmorning and relax after which you will be served lunch at around midday. After lunch, you will then embark on the transfer to Masai Mara national reserve, a journey that will take you approximately 3 hours and 47 minutes covering the 191.8 kilometre distance.
Upon arrival in Masai Mara, you will undertake a sunset game drive where you will have an exceptional big 5 encounter and other animals especially the cheetahs, hartebeests, defasa waterbucks, ellands, warthogs, wildebeests and caracals. Head back to the lodge at twilight for dinner and rest for the night.
Day 7. Full day game drives.
Have breakfast at the lodging facility and after undertake a morning game drive through the breathtaking landscapes of the reserve. The morning game drive will avail opportunities for the travelers to set their eyes on iconic wildlife species that inhabit the reserve especially the big 5.
Enjoy the views of the animals until midday when you will travel back to the lodge for lunch. An additional afternoon game drive will be conducted to further equip the visitors with sightings of animals which will add up to the overall experiences. Transfer back to the lodge at sunset for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 8. Travel back to Nairobi.
Arise at the time of your wish in the morning. You will then get served breakfast by the catering team at the lodge. Check out of the lodge and drive cautiously through the park for the opportunity to view more animals.
Continue and exit the park to travel to Nairobi a journey that will take you about 5 hours and 20 minutes covering the 228.7 kilometer distance. On arrival in Nairobi you will continue to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for the departing flights back home.
