Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
A couple that travels together finds home in each other. Travel for romance, travel for beautiful sceneries, and travel to keep the spark. Begin the love trail with two stopovers at the Equator and the Igongo Cultural Centre. Drive through the flat plains of Ntungamo and to the rolling hills with banana plantations and the stunning terraced Kigezi highlands. Make wherever you are lost in, look like a home as much as you can by having a candlelit dinner since all great love stories begin at the dinner table.
Gorilla Tracking and Community visit
Hiking through the ancient rainforest and trekking for Mountain Gorillas into the heart of their natural habitat is the highlight of the trip. There is nothing that strengthens the love between two people like a grand thrilling adventure tracking these gentle giants. After the thrill of the forest mountain giants, embrace the Ugandan culture of the indigenous group of people called the Batwa. Stay with a little Ugandan culture in you by taking a community walk to engage and see how people in the area live.
Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
Chase after another adventure to Lake Bunyonyi believed to be the second deepest lake in Africa found in Kabale. The word Bunyonyi in the local dialect means small birds. If Mystery is your middle name; a little adventure, a little travel, and a little Rugote welcome you with sweet sounds of the birds. Avoid “pier” pressure and spend the day at the lake. Restore and calm your souls on a canoe trip on the lake whereby you will be able to see various birds, communities, and terraced landscapes such as the islands. When you cannot find the words to describe what you have experienced, engage in an evening nature walk through the Blacksmiths (Abaheesi) communities.
Drive to Kampala and departure
Depending on the time, en-route to the crocodile farm and continue to the hotel or to the airport for your departure flight.
